Program Itinerary

Morning and Afternoon: Airport transfers available to welcome you to this vibrant city.
Evening: Settle into your accommodation and join us for a welcome dinner and drinks, where you will meet your fellow travelers and hosts.

Morning: Enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading out on an Antigua sightseeing tour led by local guides.
Afternoon: Participate in a jade workshop and learn about this traditional craft while supporting a local family.
Evening: Tonight we’ll combine Mayan traditions with self development practices. Join us for a traditional temazcal (traditional Mayan “sweat lodge”) and cold plunge, a group meditation and cacao ceremony.

Morning: Early breakfast at your accommodation
All-Day Adventure: Embark on an overnight-hike to the active volcano Acatenango or on a day-hike to volcano Pacaya.
Evening: Participants returning from Pacaya can enjoy a massage and have a free night to relax and recover.

Morning: Pacaya hikers: Enjoy a morning meditation session, optional volunteer activities at the Day Care Center or free time to explore (with recommended activities from your trip leader)
Acatenango hikers: Wake up at Basecamp to watch the sunrise, descend from the volcano and arrive back to Jocotenango in the early afternoon
Afternoon: Pacaya hikers: Additional free time to explore Antigua or relax
Acatenango hikers: Enjoy a massage and relax on the terrace to enjoy the view of the volcanos (what’s a better way to recover after an overnight hike??)
Evening: Free time with optional group activities in Antigua, your Trip Leader will coordinate an optional group dinner.

Morning: At around 8 a.m., we will depart for the breathtaking Lake Atitlán, embarking on a private transfer that will take approximately three hours.
Afternoon: Visit San Juan for various workshops like making handmade shampoo, chocolate crafting, and tree planting - fostering sustainability and supporting local artisans.
Evening: Stay overnight at one of our local Mayan Homestays where you will feel like part of the family! Learn about life in Guatemala and enjoy home cooked meals with stunning lake views.

Morning: Start your day with a sunrise hike at 5 a.m. to Indian Nose or a rejuvenating morning yoga session overlooking Lake Atitlán.
Afternoon: Spend time relaxing by the lake, taking a swim or paddleboard ride before returning to Antigua for the evening.
Evening: Savor dinner and drinks at a local brewery while watching the volcano Fuegos eruption.

Morning: Join a morning meditation and creative self development workshop on the terrace. Then visit two local female entrepreneurs for a weaving workshop where you’ll learn the ancient art of Mayan textile-making.
Afternoon: Today’s lunch will be cooked by you! Experience a traditional Mayan cooking class and try some of Guatemala’s most delicious cuisine.
Enjoy free time to explore Antigua and the surrounding areas with recommendations from your Trip Leader.
Evening: End the day with a salsa and bachata class, drinks, and lively energy at a local discoteca.

Morning: Today is a special day that we believe will impact you for years to come. Visit the village of Santa Barbara, where our NGO, The M Story, is making a difference through education programs and women’s empowerment. Spend the day supporting the local community - play with the children, connect with their families and learn more about life in rural Guatemala.
Evening: Final workshop reflecting on a lessons learned throughout the journey. Share a farewell group dinner in Jocotenango, celebrating the connections and growth from the past week.

Your accommodation
Your accommodation is located in Jocotenango, a ten minute drive from the city of Antigua. You’ll stay in one of our cozy dorm-style rooms that includes a full bathroom, small balcony, and a terrace with incredible views of Vólcan de Agua and the surrounding landscapes.
In each room we have 3 single beds available, perfect for solo travelers joining our group trip and 1 queen bed, great for friends joining together!
Each bed includes a night-light, outlet, and small shelf to place your phone or any other personal items.
Our accommodation sits above our NGO’s Day Care Center, giving you the opportunity to spend time with the local children and families that we are assisting.
